New York Brunch Desserts:
1. Original Sin Chocolate Mousse

New York Brunch Cocktails

 

The Candy Collins

 

Ingredients:
2 ounces Hell’s Candy Silver Premium Rum
Juice of 1 lime
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
Club Soda
Cranberry Juice
1 slice lemon (Garnish)

Method:
In a shaker with ice, combine rum, lime juice and powdered sugar. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
Top with club soda water, Cranberry Juice and stir. Garnish with the lemon slice and serve.

The Cubanito – a lighter sweeter Bloody Mary

Ingredients:
2 ounces Hell’s Candy Silver Premium Rum
½ ounce Fino Sherry
½ cup cracked ice
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon sugar (or to taste)
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon tabasco sauce
½ teaspoon ground horseradish
3 ounces tomato juice
Lime wedge, 2 large green olives (Garnish)

Method:

Place all the ingredients except the garnishes in a chilled tall glass and stir. Garnish with the lime wedge, olives and serve.

The Perfect Sunrise

Ingredients

2 ounces Hell’s Candy Silver Premium Rum
4 ounces fresh orange juice
1 ounce grenadine syrup
Orange slice (Garnish)

Method:

Place all the ingredients except the garnishes in a tall glass over ice. Garnish with the Orange slide and
serve.

Treats

Original Sin Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients:

3 Bars (7 ½ Ounces) of Hell’s Candy Original Sin Dark Chocolate
3 table spoons of heavy cream
2 ounces of powdered sugar
4 large organic eggs
2 ounces Hell’s Candy Silver Premium Rum

Method:

1.Over a low heat or double boiler melt the chocolate with the cream
2.Add the powdered sugar
3.Seperate the yolks from the whites and stir yolks into chocolate mixture
4.Beat the whites until very stiff
5.Stir Hell's Candy Silver Premium Rum into the chocolate mixture
6.Fold the beaten egg whites into the chocolatemixture as gently as possible
7.Pour the mixture into a mold, or cocktail glasses, and chill
8.Serve when set (minimum 20 minutes)
